Christyn is a teenage musician based in Canada.
From a young age, she was fascinated by music and loved to sing wherever she went. By the age of five she got her first ukulele and quickly learned how to play, and at age twelve she got her first guitar. In fifth grade she officially wrote her first song and couldn’t stop writing. She performed her music in school, posted her songs on a private YouTube channel and played for her friends and family.
At age thirteen she wrote her first major song called “Ocean Blue Eyes” and soon after uploaded it to her TikTok page “christynn_woah”. Her account has since grown tremendously and she posts multiple times a week on Instagram and TikTok.
In 2025, she released her first single called “Side Chick (Acoustic Version)” which she wrote a week before she recorded and released it.
She finds inspiration for all her songs through storytelling, past experiences, and her own emotions. She can’t describe how she writes and what her process is, but she does know that once she gets the right chords and she’s almost crying writing down the words, it’s going to be a good song.
She hopes to release more music in the near future and hopes to inspire people her age and future generations with her music.
