Chromatic Filters, is a dj/musician Italian duo (Luca Sanna and Pierpaolo Sechi) based in London.
Before they met, Luca grooved to the deep house and Pierpaolo was turned on to live performance as musician (bass and synth).
Their original sound taking inspiration by the early '80s NY disco scene, influenced by Piero Piccioni soundtracks, Disco, Cosmic Boogie, Afrobeat and Detroit techno, fusing many differing elements of dance music with live instruments and everything woving together with an incredible sense of dynamics.
The atmospheric and spacious style gives the head more to discover with each listen.
The lush and organic arrangements in their music give something for the body to discover with every listen, too.
Their DJ / Live set reflects an eclectic vision of their music, mixing and blending together their musical influences into one sound.
They have already released 4 EPs on Rebirth Records, including remixes from Mark E, Slow Hands, Jamie 3:26, Brisa, Idjut Boys and Fouk!.
They have recently played clubs such as The C.A.M.P, East Village, Verve and Egg London, Cafe del Mar, Cafe Mambo Ibiza, Boulevard Barcelona, Terpentijn Amsterdam, Renate Berlin and many more.
