Missouri natives, Charlie Winborn and Christian Miller united with Bradley Whittington, Sam Hurt, and Vaysia Knust, establishing the band, Chronokinesis. While difficult to define the band with traditional music genres, they identify as an Alternative Rock/Progressive Metal band, drawing inspiration from Darkest Hour, Tool, blink-182, Tesseract, and Paramore. Their unique sound combines experimental song structures, hard-hitting riffs, and tasty grooves with catchy melodic vocals. The name of the band drew inspiration from its common themes of time and space which are evident in their poetic and heartfelt lyrics. The band officially began performing live in Columbia, Missouri in 2024 as well as focusing their time on putting out their EP. Chronokinesis continues to write new music and hopes to keep performing live as well as expanding their audience.
