Biography (EN)
Chrysalis was born in Turin (Italy) in 1993 from the ashes of Soulless. Its sound owed much to Florida techno-death metal bands of the '90s such as Atheist, Pestilence and Death. Over the years, the sound grew heavier and more multifaceted, more mature and consistent. In 1998, the band released Abductions, a promo album featuring two groundbreaking tracks infused with a jazzy and psychedelic touch. Soon after, the band released its first full-length studio album, 'D.eforming N.eural A.ggression', which, however, didn't get published as the band split up for good in 2001.
23 years later, Chrysalis is finally back, in a new, digital form.
