Chuan-Tzu

Chuan-Tzu sounds Chinese, but is handmade metal from Frankfurt, Germany. The band was founded in 2003 by Maximilian Vidovic (drums), Thomas Vidovic (guitars) and Markus Krutzik (vocals). Simon Raque (bass) joined the band in 2013.

Chuan-Tzu thrilled the underground press in 2009 with their debut album "Metachaos", an one-hour concept album with a surprising mix of thrash, alternaLve and progressive metal: Earshot.at said: “Many bands can mix up different influences, but Chuan-Tzu make it work!” What started for the band as schoolyard fun was built to last and survived many musical trends in heavy music for already over two decades. In 2016 the band’s second album "Delight In Disorder" was released, wriaen and produced independently. The-Pit.de said: “Groovy, thrashy, crisp. It goes without saying that these guys enjoy chaos."

After countless club shows across Germany Chuan-Tzu celebrated their 20th anniversary at the legendary Wacken Open Air 2023. The band will play Wacken Open Air for the third time in 2024 and can be seen on tour throughout Europe from October until December 2024.
