Before music the Westbank , New Orleans native built a credible name for himself as a Master Barber , Army veteran and having a relentless hustle . After an honorable discharge from the service , Chuckwavy attended the University Of Mary Hardin-Baylor and was a member of the legendary Crusaders football team . Remaining rooted in central Texas Chuckwavy emerged as an Artist . With his innovation and passion as a master barber he designed a mobile barber shop company , the Barbership LLC. The Barbership was a strategically designed Mercedes sprinter van , that serviced various businesses and venues like , SXSW in central Texas. The design coupled with his dynamic marketing approach , enabled him to bring the barbershop , streets and music all into one . By virtue and relentless hustle he created his own unique approach to gaining his following . From athletes on the field , to Veterans across seas his music seeks to inspire and motivate.
