Chunkyard

While the world stagnates in 2021 during the pandemic, a great alternative rock trio is born in Berlin. Chunkyard, consisting of Max A. (Vox, Guitar), Dariusz M. (Drums) and Percy P. (Bass, Vox) use the non-performing time in 2021 to produce their first album "Welcome to the Chunkyard". The album has been available on vinyl and all common platforms since May 2022.
In May 2023, they went back into the studio to record their second album. "Breakdown" contains 13 rocking songs and was released digitally and on CD on 1 December 2023.
Max and Darius had already shaken the foundations of Berlin's stages in 90s with bands like Crax and Defcon. They met again in mid-2020 and set out to find a suitable bass player. Luck was with them! Because they found Percy, the perfect bassist and backing vocalist in every respect. Percy, who played in bands such as Uptide, Dial L for liquidation and Dragnet, also knew Darius from earlier times and was seeking new musical perspectives after a few years abroad.
As the pandemic slowly came to an end and gigs were possible again in 2022, the band's live potential became apparent.
