CH/ZZY

Growing up in the small town of Manteno, IL, CH/ZZY spent much of his youth being an all-around artist. Devoted to writing, drawing and painting, he went on to study the arts and graphic design at Illinois State University. He always had a passion for music over all else, and as a result of his love for hip hop, began writing rhymes in his teenage years. After moving to the city of Chicago in 2010, he started spending considerable time recording songs, juggling life balance between his career and any chance he had to be creative. His aspiration to share music with the world continued to grow until he began to record professionally in 2022, releasing his first album, Late Start, in 2023.
He couldn't stop there. With popular songs like, Squints, New Levels, and Diamond Summer, he felt compelled to keep going. In the early summer of 2025, Paper Mirrors dropped. Deemed a much more personal and emotional album that included popular songs like Bonkers, Stardust and Bona Fide, CH/ZZY began to realize that he was only getting started. And much more music is on the way!
