CID Camo

CID Camo, born Marshall Alfonza Coaxum III, grew up in the city of Jacksonville Florida where he was raised alongside his brother, by his mother and grandmother. Career wise, Cam never felt like a path in music would be a choice for him. Until 2019 when his brother showed him a demo for the FL Studio DAW. From the first time he used the program he was instantly obsessed with creating music. Starting with beats, that eventually led to writing lyrics reflecting on his life and goals. A year after he began producing, he dropped his first mixtape project, “Success Over Survival” in 2020. Where he spoke on his inner emotional battles, love life and dreams. Afterwards, his long time friend Zae Zatiiva, who had been making music for several years, asked for him to help produce an feature on his tape “Taking A Walk” which was released on SoundCloud in late 2020. Since then, Cam has been focused on working on himself as an artist and producer taking a hiatus from releasing music. Though he is still dropping the occasional track here an there for his loyal fans!
