Cinder

Cinderella or better known as Cinder, was born and raised in Valencia City, Bukidnon where her music took the simple, beautiful and lush scenery as inspiration. She honed her songwriting skills when she worked in Dubai playing for her Indie Pop sideband “Plain Amity”. After returning home to Bukidnon, she was unexpectedly pulled out of obscurity by her friends from YAKĀ, a famous music bar in Malaybalay City, who convinced her to perform live as a Solo Act. It wasn’t long before her songs and abilities earned the acclaim of Bukidnon and a solid following in YAKĀ as well as booking notable festivals in the Bukidnon area and neighboring cities. Her music is described as “mesmerizing and light to the ears but thick with subdued emotions”, and “an artist who is unapologetically Mindanaoan set to elevate music from the usually overlooked region”. She considers Ben & Ben, Kitchie Nadal, Barbie Almabis, Lifehouse, Lucy Rose, Zee Avi, Wilco, Featherstone, The Aces, Loop PH among others as her major musical references.
