Born and raised in the mostly isolated Panhandle of Nebraska, Cipher, is a unique emcee with roots in underground and conscious hip-hop music. Over time he has expanded his tastes and stylings to become a versatile artist. Experience and hardships have shaped his worldview including the detailed ways of expression shown in each poignant verse. After a hiatus of sorts from large bodies of work a return to form has been long coming and delivered a new more vibrant sound. It seems Cipher’s sensibility for clever yet captivating lyrics has only grown as he continues to sharpen his craft against the whetstone of life.
