The name Cipya is inspired by that of Pripyat, the abandoned neighboring city to Chernobyl, and the sound inspired by both the accident and the reclamation of the city by nature. I started as a drummer and keyboardist and, following medical problems that prevented me from playing, moved over to electronic genres.
