Sboniso Brandon Luthuli, known to many by his stage name Citizen Boy , is a South African DJ, Producer, Mix Engineer, Artist and a founder and owner of the label, ACT Records. He began his musical career around 2014 in Avoca Hills, Durban as a Producer. He released his first official singles on the Gqom Oh!’s compilation titled The Sound of Durban Vol.1 in 2016.
In 2017, he graduated at Creative Arts College as a DJ and released his first solo Ep Tribute to Malumz Kole with the help of his record label Gqom Oh! He started traveling the world though music, DJing from one country to another. His first gig was in Saint Reunion Island with his Gqom Oh! colleague, Griffit Vigo.
In 2018, he graduated at Damelin as a Sound Engineer, he released 2 singles featuring Nigerian artist Dapo Tuburna. Citizen Boy has introduced artists such as ANT the Artist , Simore & Detroye through his record label ACT Records.
