Memphis-based singer-songwriter Claire Alaina has an extraordinary way of cutting straight through to the core of her listeners’ emotions. With a passion for songwriting running through her veins, Claire's captivating lyrics reveal vulnerability and a way to connect with others by memorable melodies and powerhouse vocals.

My songwriting process begins with writing down lyrics as if I’m journaling about a loss or pain I’m feeling. Most of my songs originate from lost friendships, betrayal, and breakups. I also write about the people that mean the world to me, such as my mama and my Opaw.

While Claire's family followed in the path of the medical field, she had other dreams to become a young, rising star. Her musical journey started early as soon as she learned she could carry a tune, sitting on her Opaw's leg while he played the organ. The flexibility of her arrangements leaves her drawing inspiration from a variety of artists including Carrie Underwood, Adele, Demi Lovato, and Miranda Lambert.

Using her classical choir experience throughout high school, Claire is able to incorporate a variety of stylings in her performances. Her accomplishments include being named the finalist in several Star of the Fair competitions and vocal contests.
