Originally from Birmingham, Claire Atherton moved to Brighton in 2018 to start her journey as a singer-songwriter. Having always listened to Soul music as she grew up, she was always fascinated by the genre. However once she had settled into Brighton’s vibrant music scene, Claire discovered a strong love for the complex vocals that are included in R&B songs. Through finding passion and inspiration through the two genres, Claire combines them together to create something unique that not only portrays who she is as an artist but as a person.
