Hi, I’m Claire. I’m a painter who writes songs, and I believe that creative expression is an integral part of worship. I quit painting for a while after losing a significant amount of my vision due to a genetic disease. But, because God is patient and gracious, He showed me that vision isn’t nearly as important as perspective; and so I began a daily practice of painting and drawing as a way of worshiping Him.
The theme of God’s faithfulness—regardless of my circumstances—is the common current that runs through every song I write. I hope that, through my art, I can tell the world about my Creator; and that, through my songs, I can make known to the world that His name is Jesus.
