Clara Hurtado

Born in Madrid, Spain and later moving to the U.K. to pursue a career in music, Clara Hurtado has never stayed in the same place for long. She began learning her craft from a very young age however and whenever she could. Proud of her Spanish and English roots, she grew up singing along to Carlos Santana's guitar solos, and listening intently to vocal runs by genre-defining artists such as Beyoncé and Jill Scott on repeat.


Clara’s attention to detail means that she is able to capture the true meaning behind any song. This talent was recognised by Tom Jones, Gavin Rossdale, Jennifer Hudson and Will.i.am, as they all turned their chairs to give Clara the coveted clean-sweep during her blind audition on The Voice UK in 2017. Since then, she has performed live at venues and events such as The Great Escape festival in Brighton and the prestigious Jazz Cafe in Camden. Following her most recent performance at Shepherd’s Bush O2 Empire, opening the show for Nathy Peluso on her Calambre tour, Clara has been working away in the studio, writing and recording non-stop for a series of upcoming singles.
