Clara Strauch is a Swedish-American singer-songwriter with roots on the island of Gotland and in New York City. Her critically acclaimed albums <a href="spotify:album:07wMAikNnjYEqurBiLISVN" data-name="Persephone">Persephone</a> and <a href="spotify:album:5prMvaIhzzxpvI2wOGVWhP" data-name="Jupiter">Jupiter</a> explore poetic folk-pop infused with emotional depth, mythic themes, and vivid storytelling.
She has been nominated for Outstanding Original Music at the New York Innovative Theatre Awards, performed live in the Palme d’Or-nominated film Bergman Island, and composed music for numerous theatre productions in Sweden and the US. Her solo concerts have ranged from intimate venues to singing with an orchestra, and she has shared the stage with groundbreaking voices in Swedish music.
Strauch is also a trained actress, and holds a BFA with honors and scholarship from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Creatively fueled by her bicultural life, she draws inspiration from the heart, inner growth, and the natural world.
