You discovered them in 2022 with
the release of a first EP in the form of a rock manifesto. Four tracks carved out of life, a sonic storm that emerged from the limbo of the golden decade that saw the triumph of Nada Surf, Weezer, G. Love, Goo Goo Dolls and so many other decibel providers.
Born and bred in this milieu, the quartet
from the Paris region know their stuff: John (guitar and vocals), Matt (bass), Mehdi (drums) and Fx (guitar) go straight to the heart of the matter, with total sincerity.
In 2023, “Safe and Sound” takes things a
step further, broadening their palette. John's American roots shine through at
every turn in these rock songs bursting with urgency and emotion.
That same year, their Christmas song “The Hedgehog (A Christmas Lullaby)” had the luxury of making BEST magazine's playlist.
“Straight From The Cask”, released in April 2025, takes Clayton Ravine's sound to the point of incandescence where many expected them to be when they debuted five years ago. Recorded in Louveciennes and Saint-Cyr-L'École
(78), mastered at Globe Audio in Bordeaux (Noir Désir, Julien Doré, BB Brunes, Cocoon...), this mini-album is faithful to the quartet's post-grunge vein. Proven in venues in western Paris and at local festivals, this resolutely stage-calibre album is just waiting for you. Just what you need: in the spring of 2025, Clayton Ravine will headline the Rock'n'Beer festival in Maule and open for Didier Wampas for two dates in Brittany.
