Sebastian Rangel and Michael Myers better known as Clef & Canberra first met at a nightclub in Philadelphia through a mutual friend in 2016. Michael’s clubs Rumor and Soundgarden Hall hosted Tiesto, Armin, W&W, Hardwell and the like. It was no surprise that Clef found himself opening for some of these artists. With Canberra’s deep history in the dance scene and Clef’s appetite for music, it was not very long before they found themselves in the studio together working on their first production, a remix contest for Firebeatz “Dear New York”. Sebastian was born and bred in Pereira Colombia & moved to the U.S in 2010 and Michael is a native of Philadelphia. These two different inputs have been crucial in coming up with new concepts and fresh sounds.
