Based in Salt Lake City since 2012. Cliffs was created by Adam Anderson and Blake Owens while attending college. Their influences come from bands like The Beach Boys, and Dinosaur Jr. and more recently MGMT and Tame Impala. After having written a few songs together Adam and Blake looked to add more members; Cameron Jorgensen and Seth Radmall. At this point they were ready to tackle their first EP, Experiments. The song Persephone, featured on Experiments, was listed on blogs like YVYNL and the band was featured as new band of the week on LAST.FM. They took these small wins as motivation to continue writing more, and within a year they released their first LP, Pets in the City. Their single Capsules was then licensed to play on MTV’s TV show, Awkward. The band is currently working on new songs to be released on an upcoming album yet to be named, and hoping to reach more people than ever before with their music.
