Cloud 18 is alt rock quartet based in Albany NY. The four guys met when they were randomly roomed together as freshmen at the University at Albany, through the Theatre Living Learning Community Program. The name "Cloud 18" actually refers to the group's affectionate nickname for their original dorms on the 18th floor of UAlbany's Eastman Tower. After a couple months of touring around open mics in the capital region as a solo act, Zach took his songwriting and guitar skills and combined with Andrew's drumming talent to form Cloud 18's precursor "A to Z." Nathan and Ayele would soon pick up the keyboard and bass respectively and join the group, making it the Cloud 18 we know and love today. Nathan has since also contributed his lyrical ability to multiple songs in the Cloud 18 repertoire. Today, the boys live together in downtown Albany, waiting to jam across the NY Capital Region once more!
