Endlessly sincere with a heart towards overdrive, Club Cafe convened in 2022 to realize the songs of guitarist/vocalist Rebecca Jones. While their music has been compared to The Breeders and early Destroyer, Jones cites Stereolab, Palehound, and traditional Presbyterian hymns as influences. Club Cafe consists of longtime friends and collaborators who have the strength of making music together in different contexts and groupings for nearly a decade. The band self-released their debut EP Cool 4 You on February 3, 2023, which can be found on all streaming platforms as well as Bandcamp.
