Clyde Kelly is an independent rapper and songwriter from North Carolina. His music defies genre boundaries, blending hip-hop, R&B, and pop with lyrics about self-awareness, self-doubt, mental health, and love.
He released his debut album <a href="spotify:album:1d63BsQq3BJ0dZb00AzyB2" data-name="Not Rich Yet">Not Rich Yet</a> in 2016. The second single, "<a href="spotify:track:3qN6aspYtIpm2dNYnM06kL" data-name="Magic">Magic</a>," was included on Spotify's <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWY6tYEFs22tT" data-name="Hip-Hop Central">Hip-Hop Central</a> playlist. His next two projects - <a href="spotify:album:1I6SEFiESPC3EDtspFYuIq" data-name="LRx - EP">LRx - EP</a> (2017) and <a href="spotify:album:1gUL1M0qnEyEdpWjcwem0b" data-name="Side Hustle">Side Hustle</a> (2019) - both debuted in the top 50 of the US iTunes chart in the R&B/Soul and Hip-Hop/Rap genres, respectively.
He co-wrote "<a href="spotify:album:4RR8ROIGix5CbCGlXHA53I" data-name="Black Swan">Black Swan</a>" by BTS, and continues to collaborate as a songwriter with artists across all genres.
Clyde has been profiled in The Daily Pennsylvanian, The Wharton Journal, DJBooth, HipHopDX, and Poets & Quants. He has opened for artists such as T-Pain and Yung Joc, and currently resides in Los Angeles.
