Formed in 1990, co-VEN are pioneering members of the Pakistani underground English language music scene based out of the ancient cultural city of Lahore. The band is widely recognised in music circles as having a unique and technically challenging style, inspiring many contemporary Pakistani Rock, Prog and Avant-garde acts since.
In the early 2000's, after a brief hiatus, the band reformed to record three EP's titled Volume I which featured the widely-aired 'Sailing Fast'. Volume II released a couple of years later, featuring the video hit 'Boundaries Broken' and Volume III, recorded in 2008/9 which features the internationally acclaimed and controversial single ‘Ready To Die'.
