About Coastal Rising
Coastal Rising is what happens when five creative musicians from different genres and opposite corners of the country come together on the same wave. With roots stretching from the California surf and Hawaii’s island vibe to the modern country sounds of Texas, Nashville’s storytelling, and the East Coast bar scene, the band has carved out a fresh sound that hooks you and won't let go.
It’s a combination that shouldn’t make sense on paper, but Coastal Rising makes it feel natural. Drawing on influences ranging from Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll and Shaboozey to the coastal vibes of Sublime, Stick Figure, O.A.R, and Jack Johnson, they create a fusion of coastal chill, Southern grit, and feel-good rhythm that instantly pulls you in like a summer getaway, no matter the season.
The band’s debut album, Boots In The Sand, features three songs recorded live during a sold-out beach festival, showcasing the group's electric chemistry with the crowd. Coastal Rising is currently back in the studio working on their follow-up album, planned for release in January 2026.
