codecaud’s (also known as Codie Loh) debut EP ‘Still Jive’ is finally out! Recorded in the comfort of Codie’s bedroom, ‘Still Jive’ is an exploration of her late teen angst and confusion with songs about family, friends and growing up.
Having been through different phases and experimentations with different sounds, from Florence + The Machine to The 1975 to Warpaint to David Bowie, it was a frustrating process because there was so much she wanted to share but has never been sure of what represents her as a being and an artist.
After almost 2 years’ break from performing at venues such as Esplanade Concourse and Sofar Sounds, she has been working on her debut EP, ‘Still Jive’, in which she explores life at the good parts, the bad parts, as well as everything in between with the hopes of lending herself and everyone else a form of liberation from exhausting times.
