Cody Howard

With a melodic voice born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, Harlan, Kentucky singer/songwriter, Cody Howard is steadily putting down roots in the proverbial field of country music – and for good reason. The young troubadour possesses a skill for both words and melody, and a vibrant passion for sharing his songs with the world. His influences span from the likes of the greats like Willie Nelson, John Prine, Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt, but Howard pins a distinctive sound all on his own. With a unique take on the Appalachian narrative, Cody blends elements of classic country and rock ‘n’ roll with a newer, more modern take. Recently forming his band ‘Cody Howard & The Neon Prowlers’.


In March 2022, Howard released his debut album ‘Appalachian Dream’ to critical acclaim. Now with nearly 20,000 listens and a numerous amount of reviews and articles, songs like “Warsaw”, “Bluegrass”, and “Another Life” continue to weave their way into the hearts of those who listen. Cody continues to write and share his stories. He is a recently discovered jewel of the mountains and now is his time to shine.
