Cody Luv born Nolan Saburo is a 22 year old vocalist, producer, and sound engineer from San Diego, California. Nolan’s discography under the Cody Luv project stretches back to the early days of 2017, starting having released music on Soundcloud. Nolan has released 3 EP’s on Soundcloud as Cody Luv, as well as his debut album that dropped back in 2021 titled “The New Cool Cody”, which he simply describes as his quote, “coming of age project”.
Its extremely difficult to put a finger on what Cody’s goal is with music, but that’s the best part. Cody’s capacity to experiment and go outside of his comfort zones with genre and style are documented throughout his work and his past collaborations with artists and collectives. Nolan was reached out to by fellow collaborator in 2021, Midwxst to join the music collective “Novagang”, which is comprised of over a dozen young artists who all create music under the label. Cody’s departure from Novagang took place the following year when he was then approached by an ‘EDM Band’ based in Los Angeles, California, called “RudeClub”. Cody would produce dozens of tracks for the group, as well as be a vocal performer, and the primary sound engineer for the group.
