Originating in the Midwest, Richard Cornell (Coherant) started is love for music at a young age. Developing from a background in percussion, rhythm and beat remain a core asset in both his music and soul.
Whilst in high school, Richard sprung his producing career off a fundraiser targeted at friends, family, and other artists. His hopes were to obtain both the funds and the support to pursue his dream. After succeeding in his fundraiser, Richard and a trusted friend developed the name Coherant as a pen-name.
Through time, however, Richard has used the title swing his way into the music industry and show that there is no lack of enthusiasm in his works. Coherant’s current goal can be best told by the very fundraiser description that got him started:
“I just want to change lives, one song at a time”
