Collectors. originally started in frontman Bobby's bedroom as a solo instrumental project that was being written for around 5 years. Through mutual pals and contacts within the music scene, they have slowly become a fully-fledged band.
The band's sound now includes vocals, and draws inspiration from artists such as Interpol, City and Colour, and Daughter. The quintet blends atmospheric textures with distorted guitars and driving drums, bringing a fresh sound to the indie scene.
William Wolstenholme from BBC Radio Lancashire says "Collectors are one of Preston’s most inventive bands and no one else can bring you what these guys can."
