Collin Lim is a K-pop singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Since moving from Korea to LA at age 11, he has retained a deep affection for Korean culture and K-pop in particular. Lim’s songwriting is defined by its exploration of the complexity and different sides of love. He lets his imagination guide him as he writes, excavating memories and expanding snapshots into scenes and stories.
Lim is also a working actor, and he has appeared in numerous theater productions, independent films, audio dramas (Apple Podcasts’ “Edge of Sleep”), TV shows (HBO’s “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Apple TV’s “Pachinko”), and brand commercials (Uber, Hanmi Bank). Lim is continually inspired by the interpretative nature of both of his creative outlets as musician and actor, which both involve the process of giving new shape to human emotions onto which listeners and viewers can map their own ideas and experiences.
