For more than a decade, Collin has honored the craft of storytelling and coupled it with his unique musical blends in order to captivate the hearts of his listeners and encourage them to look to Christ Jesus for peace, hope, and healing.
Within the first few years of his writing and performing career, He worked with a Studio in St. Paul Minnesota to complete his first album. From that experience he was able to learn about the recording process and work to create his own “studio” (Jayanavah Studio). With nothing but the necessities, He began recording on his own, experimenting with unconventional vocal/instrumental blending, and complimentary background tone colors to create one of a kind works. In 2019 after nearly 1000 hours of experimentation and recording work, he would go on to release his second album “Crowsong: an album from Bodien 221.” Within this album his true iconic style would begin to show. For almost a year following the release of “Crowsong” Collin would hone his signature style, what he would describe as a new pioneering genre: Northern Patchwork-thick, marbled vocal and instrumental tracks, nostalgic feels, spinning tales and weaving in the most breathtaking pictures- like a great big musical quilt.
“Everywhere I go and everyone I meet has a story. Within every song I write, I try to capture that keepsake to the fullest- all the emotion, the breathtaking views, the breakdowns and breakthroughs, the journies, wisdom, wonder and Christ’s peace.
