Colombina Clandestina is an independent and non-profit cultural collective based in Lisbon that focuses on creating a contemporary approach to Carnival, as well as its artistic and popular expression.
Our avant-garde approach for a modern Carnival artistic creation in the public space is the result of a new generation of artists, musicians and members from all over the world, that think Carnival practices as cultural, political and social transformation means - in the national and international scene.
That's why Colombina Clandestina was founded on 3 pillars: the feminine, diversity, and freedom. We publicly expresses our opinions, and play loudly in acts in defense of ours ideals.
