Inspired in equal parts by modern metal and colorful television ponies, Pittsburgh's own Coltcrusher was first conceived of in 2013 as a way to bring the heaviest music to the ears of an internet fandom quickly becoming as newsworthy for their impressive charitable contributions as they were infamous for their surprisingly old and male demographics. Call it bronycore, brutal pony death metal, or just bang your head indiscriminately, Coltcrusher brings a powerful, melodic approach to death metal, deathcore, slam, and more. This one-man project seeks to subvert your expectations while getting you moving.
