“Come Bunnies are a music duo consisting of producer Blaksmith and vocalist/producer Baby Leatha. Hailing from Orillia, Ontario, the duo create electronic music with a unique small-town sound.
Blaksmith began making music in the mid-90s while still in high school. He released a number of solo albums throughout the 2000s, including Motion Sick Swingers and Pet Present, as well as working on soundtracks and collaborating with other artists, before meeting Baby Leatha in 2011.
The group’s debut album Yesterday Fish is a blend of live vocals and instrumentation, electronic beats, and a broad assortment of unusual samples. With influences ranging from electronica to hip-hop to 90s alternative, their music pulls from a wide variety of sources and breaks down genre barriers.
The pair are currently living together in Orillia and working on their follow up to Yesterday Fish.”
