Comfy is the garage-pop brainchild of songwriter Connor Benincasa. Tirelessly churning out songs for over a decade and always brimming with enthusiasm, Comfy delivers hooky melodies, searing guitar solos, and personal, introspective lyrics via a live performance crackling with raw energy and homespun recordings oozing with personality. Born in the heart of the rust belt in Utica, NY, Benincasa cut his teeth writing songs and performing with Comfy until 2016 when he relocated to West Philadelphia and became embedded in its DIY scene alongside contemporaries 2nd Grade, Remember Sports, and 22 Degree Halo. In 2020, Benincasa returned to his rust belt roots and relocated again to Rochester, NY, where the band’s creative output has blossomed and flourished. Five studio albums since its inception, Comfy’s songs and live performances have been honed to a razor’s edge, all while remaining too restless to sit still.
