Computer Guys is the music project of Salvadoran Rodrigo Rivera. What began as a summer project became a hobby and he hopes it will turn into a part time career. Influenced by artists like <a href="spotify:artist:3AA28KZvwAUcZuOKwyblJQ" data-name="Gorillaz">Gorillaz</a> or <a href="spotify:artist:0X380XXQSNBYuleKzav5UO" data-name="Nine Inch Nails">Nine Inch Nails</a>, he started making music in 2018.
He uploaded the first album, First Impression in 2020. Followed by other two albums uploaded through the COVID-19 pandemic. He also uploaded two album, The Good Vibes and Kids Just Want To Have Fun in 2021, but in 2022, he announced a "reboot" of his career. Both 2021 albums were taken down and The Other Side Redemption was uploaded in 2022 as a fresh new start.
For the songmaking, Rodrigo used various music software, he began making songs with the mobile app Music Maker JAM, but for the last albums he has used both Spotify Soundtrap and Bandlab. Although most of his work is virtual made, he has expressed that he doesn't support AI-generated tracks.
In December of 2022, he uploaded the band's first single: Beatrice Santello (named after a videogame character) as a preview to a future album about to be released in 2023.
