Colorado native Con-Q (aka Con, Conquest, or Mr. Myztic) fell in love with hip-hop in the early 1990s, a time he considers to be the golden era of the culture. At an early age he began writing his own songs with various local artists in Denver. In the early 2000s, Con attempted to form an underground record label called Ryme Tyme Records. Though the label never monetized, it lives on to this day through Con’s own passion and perseverance.
In 2020, Con-Q decided to put his energy into solo projects and allow his creativity to develop naturally. Now, more than ever, he is heavily focused on lyrical content and positive messaging that can leave a lasting impression upon those who listen. Con-Q operates in hip-hop with a high level of respect and gratitude for the culture, rapping for the love of the art over the money and fame flaunted so often in the music industry.
