Connie May is just a girl with a dream, making pop music for people who feel too much. She shares real life experiences through her songs, many of them written alone in her room, through tears, as a way of coping with anxiety, sadness, joy, and everything in between. With unapologetically pink energy, Connie grew up in a small northern region of Canada, where music was always a part of her. Half Chinese, her identity and perspective quietly shape the way she sees the world and tells her stories. Growing up, sound poured from a speaker glowing with a disco light at all hours of the night, and she quickly became known as someone who would do anything to make her goals a reality. Hardworking to her core, Connie poured everything she had into building a life in music, balancing emotional depth with a cheeky, playful edge. At 16, she began studying at the Berklee College of Music, where she deepened her craft and continued imagining where music could take her. That same drive still fuels everything she creates today. At the heart of it all is connection, and Connie May hopes to remind people they’re not alone in whatever life is throwing at them.
