Connie Price and the Keystones are a musical group from Los Angeles, California who throw in elements of '60's and '70's film scores, Jamaican production aesthetics, African and Brazilian overtones, psychedelia, hip-hop and a whole bunch of soul. Though the name connotes a female lead, Connie (Constantine to be exact) Price and The Keystones is in fact a project helmed by 6'4" guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Dan Ubick (of Breakestra and De La Soul fame) who produces under the name Connie Price.

Connie Price & the Keystones have backed hip-hop legends Big Daddy Kane, EPMD, Slick Rick, Redman, M.O.P., Brand Nubian and Too $hort as well as L.A. underground favorites Percee P,  Wildchild, Soup/Daakir from Jurassic 5, Aloe Blacc and Freestyle Fellowship's Myka Nyne, among others.

Also in 2015 Connie Price and the Keystones will release "Lucas High", a full length LP featuring the talents of Brand Nubian, Percee P & Guilty Simpson, The Pharcyde, Ta'raach & Black SHakespeare (Legal Tender), Big Daddy Kane, Rapsody & Lady Of Rage, Talib Kweli, Brother J, and many more heavy hitters TBA.

Connie Price and The Keystones' music has appeared in DJ Hero, NBA Street 4, The film London with Jessica Biel, Friday Night Lights, MTV, and Showtime's Street Time as well as been sampled by SLUM VILLAGE, OH NO, GUILTY SIMPSON and LILY ALLEN.
