CONSPIRACY OF VIOLET explores themes of life, death, creation, and rebirth through their dense, diverse rock/pop music & lyrics and soaring choruses, weaving together folk-rock, progressive, orchestral, electronic, and ambient elements to explore what it means to live, to love, to regret, to lose, and to simply be.

The Conspiracy was formed to record their debut concept album Await Not the Tide, 14 tracks exploring four interconnected stories: a man that leaves life & love behind to begin anew; three modern-day Sins; those in pain at lost love; and the eternal loneliness of old gods from before Time itself.
“At first I had this kind of commercial-sheen neo-folk/rock revival thing going on,” explains Greg, “but as I dove into the stories I wanted to tell, I started pulling inspiration from other genres I’ve worked in. I got excited at the sonic & production possibilities. I said, ‘no limits,’ just serve the stories and songs… go nuts, and just try to move people.”
“Music has always been about connecting, about finding your tribe, about not being alone,” says Greg. “I want this to be a project that’s not afraid. If a kid connects with the themes, or if someone going through a crisis of faith is moved, or if you just like the nice music, then we’ve done our job. We’ve connected. And I can’t think of a better goal as an artist that that.”
