Construction

Construction is an electronic music collaboration between Nadya Peek and Marko Ahtisaari. Peek and Ahtisaari met at MIT while fabricating on a large CNC mill. Though occupied during the day at MIT they started improvising with a seaboard and a bass in the evening. Soon they started adding drum machines, synthesizers, vocals, playing shows, and working with producer Pat Dillett (David Byrne, Brian Eno, St. Vincent) at Reservoir Studios in New York.

These collaborations resulted in the their first ep Set (2018) produced by Pat Dillett and Construction and mastered by Guy Davie (Jon Hopkins, King Krule, Four Tet) at Electric Mastering, London. RE:SET (2019) features remixes by friends RinneRadio, Slow Shiver and SØNIN.

The band's second ep WE'RE GREAT THANKS FOR ASKING (2020) was recorded while traveling, produced by Pat Dillett and mastered by Guy Davie. The cover art is by artists Aiala Hernando and Addie Wagenknecht.
