Contradusk, real name Michael S. Yelland, is an Alternative Electronic artist and music producer from the South Coast of England. Since playing piano from the age of 8, Michael has always had an eagerness to make music. In 2013, realising he could incorporate his knowledge of the piano into a fresh and exciting new context, he began producing electronic music. Contradusk's blend of distorted ambient melodies, aggressive bass synths, complicated drum rhythms and catchy alternative rock and hip-hop infusions craft a unique coalescence that truly express his deepest emotions, which have gone on to become a staple of his sound.
Having already released 7 solo albums, 15 EPs, 2 mixtapes, and several collaborative projects - with multiple tracks getting played on BBC Introducing - he is working hard on his next project.
