Controversy the One

Coming with a style similar to the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:6l3HvQ5sa6mXTsMTB19rO5" data-name="J. Cole">J. Cole</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:2YZyLoL8N0Wb9xBt1NhZWg" data-name="Kendrick Lamar">Kendrick Lamar</a>. Controversy is a rapper, and producer from the northwestern Oregon area. He started rapping at the age of 16 in (2019) when he first heard <a href="spotify:artist:1ZwdS5xdxEREPySFridCfh" data-name="2Pac">2Pac</a> “Hit Em Up” and became instantly hooked. It then Introduced him to the era of Old School Hip-Hop. Before releasing his debut album. He wanted to give the world a reason to show interest in him. So he then released his first EP called “Realism” on Apr 7. (2020). Which did poorly due to Controversy&#39;s lack of experience and not having proper equipment. He then followed it up with a second ep: Bars Over Bling(released on July 25, 2020). Which did better then &#34;Realism&#34;, but it still saw Controversy&#39;s flow, ability to stay on beat, and keeping a consistent rhyme scheme, fall short. He then spent a good amount of time carving out his next sound for his debut project. Then on (Sept 18, 2020) he released his well-received debut: Ricardo Bravo. Controversy&#39;s real name is: Ricardo Bravo, and the project was very personal, highlighting his life. The album was received well for it&#39;s great concept, storytelling, and emotion. On June 19, 2021. He would release his second album “Trials &amp; Tribulations.” which he sees as a conscious and mainstream effort, boasting hit singles like “One Day” “How It Goes” &amp; “The Way You Move.” He has often cited prominent acts such as <a href="spotify:artist:1ZwdS5xdxEREPySFridCfh" data-name="2Pac">2Pac</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5me0Irg2ANcsgc93uaYrpb" data-name="The Notorious B.I.G.">The Notorious B.I.G.</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7dGJo4pcD2V6oG8kP0tJRR" data-name="Eminem">Eminem</a> <a href="spotify:artist:3nFkdlSjzX9mRTtwJOzDYB" data-name="JAY-Z">JAY-Z</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:20qISvAhX20dpIbOOzGK3q" data-name="Nas">Nas</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2YZyLoL8N0Wb9xBt1NhZWg" data-name="Kendrick Lamar">Kendrick Lamar</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:6l3HvQ5sa6mXTsMTB19rO5" data-name="J. Cole">J. Cole</a> as his influence.
