Cooee Chad is a Korean-Australian independent rapper based in Melbourne, forging his path with raw lyricism and a sound that cuts through genre lines. What began as a personal refuge—an escape from early depression—soon evolved into a mission: to channel lived experiences into music with weight, honesty, and intention. As a member of Gold Diggers Club, a Sydney-based collective, Cooee Chad has contributed to their official singles Check In and BONGO Drift, which led to a series of live performances across local scenes. His breakout single Tied to Ms was selected as Track of the Day by Triple J Unearthed in 2022, signaling his rising profile. In 2024, he collaborated with prominent Korean rapper Owen on Wave, further bridging the Australian and Korean hip-hop worlds.
