Cook Daniel is the alter ego of Dutch music producer, composer and songwriter Kees Koek. With a background in working for (inter)national artists through his label CJK Music Productions & Publishing, he now focuses on creating music that brings calm, balance and rest.
Under the name Cook Daniel, he produces Lounge Music, New Age, relaxing instrumental music for wellness, meditation, spa and blending ambient textures with subtle piano, soft strings and warm grooves. His music moves between deep-house chillout, lounge, cinematic and deep ambient, always designed to help the listener unwind and reconnect.
For these productions, Cook Daniel collaborates with some of the top musicians from the Dutch music scene. The result is soulful, carefully crafted music that feels both light and deeply rooted.
In addition to his relaxing music, Kees also produces epic orchestral and film music under his other pseudonym: Cornel Jacobs Cook — also available on Spotify.
