Mozambican artist from Nampula began rapping at the age of 15 throughout his highschool career in which at the time, he was based in South Africa. Post high school the need and passion for self expression grew and was showcased mainly on Soundcloud. Though he was not very active at that particular point, Cooliebadboi had already begun working on potential albums to find his sound and identity.
The rapper created his own collective group in 2017 which shortly was dissolved called Pressure Records. Under Pressure Records was released his first EP titled Loaded in late 2018. After this period the rapper went silent for a year and comes back in 2021 with a more defined and polished sound as showcased on tracks like Big Boy & 258 Freestyle.
This lead to the release of his first full length album Son Of Maria dropped in 2020. The warm reception of Son of Maria allowed the artist to cross borders and continue his operations in Portugal where he continues to show his duality as a fluent speaker in Portuguese and English. He often make use of both languages in his music as part of his signature style.
