Cooper Smithson

Cooper Smithson is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter from the Columbia suburb of Lexington, South Carolina, born in 2001. Since he was young, he's heard music in his head - and he hasn't stopped writing it down. His first EP was Me and My Guitar, released in 2019, and his first full-length album, Hear Me Out, was released a year later. Thanks For the Help, his stripped-back folk album, allowed him (and the listener) to explore internally and find peace in the harsh world outside. His dedication to hone his songwriting craft never ceases, so each album he releases is more ambitious than the last.
