Cooper Stoulil has an affinity for creating hypnotic landscapes in his art, or rather, places where you can hang up the heavy proverbial coat of time, at least for a little while. His styles range from intimate, hypnotic folk fingerpickings to serene instrumentals with a bowed electric guitar. With his low baritone vocals, he paints impressionistic moments in song rather than storylines. There is a tactile woven quality to Cooper's music, like you’re tucked away in the heavy warmth of a blanket on a cold winter's morning. Stoulil is also a member of Dravus House (fronted by Elena Loper), and has been featured in The Bluegrass Situation, KBCS, KEXP, and The Stranger. Cooper will be releasing his debut full-length album, 'Someday in the Light, Again' Fall 2022.
